UMBC Ranked Second Most Diverse Student Population!

We’ve said it before here, and I’ll say it again: UMBC’s student population is diverse in just about every way imaginable. Students here are from countries all over the globe, have majors ranging from biology to aging studies to philosophy, and take part in everything from ultimate frisbee games to Bollywood film festivals to chess tournaments. If you don’t want to take our word for it, check out the link on our homepage to a story on the latest Princeton Review rankings (click here for article)– according to the 2009 edition, UMBC is ranked second in the nation for diverse student populations. Or better yet, come for a visit and see for yourself why diversity plays such a large role in the honors experience at UMBC.
