If you are a transfer student considering UMBC for the upcoming Fall 2010 semester we just want to remind you that the final deadline to apply is May 31, 2010. In order to apply you will need to submit your application online, pay the $50 application fee and send official college transcripts from all previous colleges/universities you have attended. Additionally, if you have earned fewer than 30 college credits when you submit your application we also ask that you send your official high school transcripts and SAT and/or ACT scores. When the Admissions Committee reviews a transfer application we will be looking at your past academic record including your grades, curriculum, trends on your transcripts and overall GPA. For students who have already submitted an application, you can expect an official decision letter in the mail about 2-3 weeks from the time an application becomes complete in our office. If you have already applied please be sure to use your myUMBC account to check the status of your application. If you have already been offered admission for the Fall term make sure you have signed up for Orientation and please send your final transcripts when you have finished your semester.
